Albert Nerenberg

Albert Nerenberg is an acclaimed director, hypnotist and one of the world’s top experts on laughter. 
He is also a major goofball. Nerenberg directed the documentary “Laughology,"" the first feature documentary on laughter and was named “Laughter Ambassador” by Madan Kataria, founder of the Laughter Yoga movement. 

Nerenberg’s TEDX presentation “Is Hypnosis Fake?” at 12 million views, is one of the most watched demonstrations of hypnosis to date. Nerenberg developed a unique form of hypnosis called Movie Therapy, based on the visual nature of the unconscious. In 2018 Nerenberg directed “You Are What You Act,” which was awarded the Jury Prize at the 2018 Illuminate Film Festival.
